ONLIME PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy is valid from 22 May 2018.
References in this document to “Onlime” includes reference to all of the companies trading under the Onlime brand depending upon the location of the services being purchased and/or accessed by you (“You”) pursuant to the terms set out in this document.
This document sets out Onlime’s (or “Our”) Privacy Policy, and sets out how we (“We”) use your personal details, address, phone numbers, email addresses, date of birth (collectively “Personal Information”), together with the content and information (“Content and Information”) You provided in connection with your (“Your”) use of Onlime services and social media platforms, including the features and services we make available through our website at https://onlime.com, and any other branded or co-branded websites (including sub-domains, international versions, widgets, and mobile versions); (b) social plugins such as the ‘like button’, the ‘share button’ and other similar offerings; and (c) other media, brands, products, services, software (such as a toolbar), devices, or networks now existing or later developed by Onlime (collectively “Onlime Services”).
Safeguarding your Personal Information is important to Us and We are committed to keeping Your non-public Personal Information confidential. This Privacy Policy sets out how we use Your Personal Information and the Content and Information You provide when You use Onlime Services. We encourage You to review this Privacy Policy whenever You access Onlime Services to stay informed about Our information practices and the ways You can help protect Your privacy.
1. Our Policy
1.1. We agree to use Your Personal Information in a lawful, fair and transparent manner in order to enable You to use Onlime Services and to enable us to provide, maintain and fix the Onlime Services, and to invoice/collect payment for such services.
1.2. We will not share Your Personal Information with any third party for marketing purposes without first obtaining Your consent.
1.3. We will not transfer, sell or rent your Personal Information to anyone outside of Onlime. We will only give this information to the extent it is required in connection with Onlime Services you purchase, or if we are required to do so by any applicable laws, rules or audit obligations or for the purposes of complying with audit obligations. We require that anyone who receives this information will only use it for the designated purposes.
1.4. We may share your Personal Information with third parties in order to process Your payments, maintain Your payment account or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
1.5. You can view and update Your Personal Information through your ‘User Account’.
1.6. We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access and unauthorised changes, sharing, or destruction of Your Personal Information. These security measures include internal reviews of Our data collection, storage and processing practices, and security measures, as well as physical and technical security measures to guard against unauthorised access to systems where we store personal data. We use industry-leading encryption standards to protect Your Personal Information.
1.7. The security of Your account also depends on keeping Your account password confidential and secure. You should not share Your account name or password with anyone. Please be aware that if you give Your password to someone else, they will have access to Your Personal Information as well as Content and Information.
1.8. Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce Your rights under this policy without Your explicit consent. We will post any policy changes on Our website and if the changes are significant, we may email You.

2. Content and Information
2.1. We collect the Content and Information You provide when You use all ShopOnlime Services (Bootiq, Vehicles, Property or any other modules related to it), including when You sign up for an account, create or share content, and message or communicate with others. This can include information in or about the content You provide, such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created. We also collect information about how You use Onlime Services, such as the types of content You view or engage with or the frequency, duration and location of Your activities.
2.2. We also collect the content and information that other people provide when they use Our Services, including information about You, such as when they share a photo of You, send a message to You, or upload, sync or import Your contact information.
2.3. We collect information about the people and groups You are connected to and how You interact with them, such as the people You communicate with the most or the groups You like to share with along with any such information You provide when you upload, sync or import this information (such as an address book) from a device.
2.4. We collect information relating to any purchases or transactions you complete on the Onlime Payment Service (“OPS”). The payment information we collect includes Your credit or debit card number and other card information along with account and authentication information, as well as billing, shipping and contact details.
2.5. We collect information relating to computers, phones, or other devices where You install or access Onlime Services, depending on the permissions You’ve granted. We may associate the information We collect from Your different devices in order to provide consistent services across Your devices. The information we collect in this respect is as follows:
2.5.1. Operating system, hardware version, device settings, file and software names and types, battery and signal strength, and device identifiers to help Us improve Onlime Services;
2.5.2. Device locations, including specific geographic locations, such as through GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi signals as Onlime Services are location based; and
2.5.3. Connection information such as the name of Your mobile operator or ISP, browser type, language and time zone, mobile phone number and IP address to help Us improve Onlime Services.
2.6. We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to Your device. Cookies are small data files stored in device memory that help Us maintain website functions, improve Onlime Services and Your experience, see which areas and features of Onlime Services are popular, and count visits. We may also collect information using web beacons (also known as “tracking pixels”). Web beacons are electronic images that may be used as part of Onlime Services or emails to help deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage, and campaign effectiveness and determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon. If Your browser is set not to accept Our cookies, you may not be able to access or use Onlime Services and You may wish to exercise the ‘Right to be Forgotten” as set out at Clause 7. Cookies can be disabled or removed by tools that are available in most commercial browsers. The preferences for each browser you use will need to be set separately and different browsers offer different functionality and options.
2.7. We collect information when You visit or use third-party websites and apps that use Onlime Services. This includes information about the websites and apps You visit, Your use of Onlime Services on those websites and apps, as well as information the developer or publisher of the app or website provides to You or us.
2.8. We receive information about You and Your activities on and off Onlime platforms from third-party partners where We offer services jointly or from other sources about Your interactions with them subject to You consenting to third-parties sharing Your Personal Data with Us. For example, when You create or log into your account through a social media site, We will have access to certain information from that site, such as Your name, account information, and list of friends and connections, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such social media site except to the extent that Your chosen social media platform allows You to disable this functionality.
3. Use of Content and Information
We use Your information to optimize and create engaging user experiences.
3.1. We are able to deliver our Services, personalize content, and make suggestions for You by using the information We collect to understand how You use and interact with our Services and the people or things You are connected to and interested in on and off Onlime Services.
3.2. We are able to provide You with shortcuts and suggestions based on the information You provide.
3.3. By having access to Your location settings, We are able to tailor Onlime Services to help You check in and out of local places and events nearby.
3.4. We conduct surveys and research, test features in development, and analyse the information we have to evaluate and improve products and services, develop new products or features, and conduct audits and troubleshooting activities.
3.5. We use Your information to send You marketing communications, communicate with You about Onlime Services and let You know about products, services, offers, promotions, rewards, and events offered by Us and others and provide news and information We think will be of interest to You (“Promotional Materials”). We also use Your information to respond to You when You contact Us or to inform You about our policies and terms. If You wish to receive any Promotional Materials, please click on the “opt-in” option when signing up to Onlime Services. If you do not wish to receive Promotional Materials from us, you can indicate your communication preferences in your account (Account Settings page) or use the unsubscribe link in the marketing or advertising communication to unsubscribe.
3.6. Subject to You opting-in to receiving our Promotional Materials, We may use the information We have to improve our advertising and
measurement systems so we can limit the adverts We show You to strictly the ones of interest and measure the effectiveness and reach of adverts and services. Please see our Advertising Terms and Conditions for more information regarding advertisements.
3.7. We use the information We have to help verify accounts and activity, and to promote safety and security on and off of Onlime Services, such as by investigating suspicious activity or violations of our terms or policies.
4. Sharing your Content and Information
4.1. When You share and communicate using Onlime Services, You are able to choose the audience who can see what You share.
4.2. If You choose to share your Information on the ‘public’ setting, You acknowledge that such information is available to anyone, whether or not they are using Onlime Services, and can be seen or accessed through online search engines, APIs, and offline media.
4.3. Other users of Onlime Services (such as friends) may choose to share a post or information about You. If You have any concerns regarding this, then you should write to complaints@onlime.com
4.4. When You use third-party apps, websites or other services that use, or are integrated with, Onlime Services, they may receive information about what You post or share but also may be able to access Your profile, which includes Your username, age range and country/language, Your friends list, as well as any information You voluntarily share with them.
4.5. We reserve the right to share Your information across all Onlime Services and social media platforms in order to provide Onlime Services.
4.6. If the ownership or control of all or part of Onlime Services or their assets changes, we may transfer Your information to the new owner.
4.7. We work with third party companies who help us provide and improve Onlime Services or who use advertising or related products, which makes it possible to operate our companies and provide free services to people around the world. By using Your Information, We are able to show You relevant ads but we do not provide Personal Information with advertising, measurement or analytics partners unless You give us permission to do this. We may provide these partners with information about the reach and effectiveness of their advertising without providing information that personally identifies You, or if We have aggregated the information so that it does not personally identify You.
4.8. We transfer information to vendors, service providers, and other partners who globally support Our business, such as providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how Onlime Services are used, measuring the effectiveness of adverts and services, providing customer service, facilitating payments, or conducting academic research and surveys. These partners must adhere to strict confidentiality obligations in a way that is consistent with this Privacy Policy and the agreements We enter into with them.
4.9. We may lawfully share Your information:
4.9.1. in response to a request for information if We believe disclosure is in accordance with any applicable law, regulation or legal process, or as otherwise required by any applicable law, rule or regulation;
4.9.2. if We believe your actions are inconsistent with the spirit or language of Our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Onlime or others;
4.9.3. with Your consent or at Your direction;
4.9.4. in order to perform a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in Us; and
4.9.5. to protect Your vital interests where You are incapable of giving consent.
5. Right to Access
5.1. You may request Us to provide You with information relating to the Personal Information held and processed by Us which concerns You. The data accessible by You shall include the following:
5.1.1. the legal basis for processing the Personal Information in question;
5.1.2. the period of time the Personal Information is to be stored;
5.1.3. the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
5.1.4. details of any Personal Information transferred outside of Europe and safeguards applied to such personal data and
5.1.5. a copy of the Personal Information being processed, free of charge, in electronic format.
6. Right to Rectification
6.1. You have the right to require Us rectify any of the of the Personal Information concerning You held by Us, if, in Your reasonable opinion, it is deemed to be inaccurate or incomplete.
7. Right to be Forgotten
7.1. In addition to the right to access the Personal Information held by us, You may also direct Us to erase the Personal Information held by Us and cease further dissemination of the Personal Information in following circumstances:
7.1.1. where the Personal Information held by the Us is no longer relevant for the original purposes for which the data was collected/processed;
7.1.2. where You withdraw consent;
7.1.3. where You object to the processing of Your Personal Information by Us and there is no overriding legitimate interest for continuing the processing;
7.1.4. where Your Personal Information was unlawfully processed; or
7.1.5. where your data has to be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation.
7.2. Notwithstanding the foregoing, We may refuse to comply with a request for erasure where the Personal Information is processed for the following reasons:
7.2.1. to exercise the right of freedom of expression and information;
7.2.2. to comply with a legal obligation or for the performance of a public interest task or exercise of official authority;
7.2.3. for public health purposes in the public interest;
7.2.4. archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific research historical research or statistical purposes; or
7.2.5. the exercise or defence of legal claims.
7.3. In the event You exercise the right to be forgotten, please note that You will no longer be able to access or use Onlime Services.
8. Data Portability
8.1. You shall be able to move, copy and transfer your Personal Information which is held by Us across different services. If You wish to exercise this right, We will provide Your Personal Information in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format enabling other organisations to use Your Personal Information.
9. Breach Notification
If there is any destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to (“Breach”), Your Personal Information which is likely to pose a risk to Your rights and freedoms (i.e. result in discrimination, damage to reputation, financial loss, loss of confidentiality or any other significant economic or social disadvantage), We shall notify You and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of Us becoming or being made aware of any such breach of Personal Information. If the Breach is not likely to pose a risk to Your rights and freedoms then We shall inform the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours.
10. Legal Request or Preventing Harm
10.1. Further to the uses specified at sections 4.9.1, 4.9.4 and 4/9/5 above, We may access, preserve and share Your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from any jurisdictions worldwide where We have a good faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognised standards. We may also access, preserve and share information when We have a good faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, You and others, including as part of investigations; or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. Information we receive about You, including financial transaction data related to purchases made for Onlime Services, may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm. We also may retain information from accounts disabled for violations of Our terms for at least a year to prevent repeat abuse or other violations of Our terms.
11. Amendments
We will notify You before We make changes to this Privacy Policy and give You the opportunity to review and comment on the revised policy before continuing to use Onlime Services.
